On June 10, 2021, the 100th anniversary of the Yasnaya Polyana estate museum, its branch opened in the Museum Quarter of Tula. Cultural and exhibition center "L. N. T." is located in the house number 25 on Metallistov Street (former Pyatnitskaya). The two-storey merchant's mansion house accomodates exhibitions, the museum shop "Pierre", the literary cafe "Stiva", the mini-hotel "Scherer" and a cosy museum courtyard that looks like a corner of Yasnaya Polyana estate.

On the ground floor of the exhibition space there is a permanent interactive exposition - "My Address Is Always: Tula". In this way Leo Tolstoy wrote his address in some of his letters. It is impossible to imagine his life in isolation from Tula, the closest city to the Yasnaya Polyana estate? In Tula the writer visited the house of the Noble Assembly and local government as well as the buildings of the provincial government and the district court. Tolstoy's sons went to the male gymnasium, and he was an honorable trustee in the real school in Tula.

The first floor accomodates temporary exhibitions, which are regularly changed several times a year. You can find the up-to-date information about the current exhibition and related events in the section "Events" of our website.
